Admission requirements

Admission requirements are a first professionally qualifying degree (Bachelor's degree, Diplom) in Food Technology or in a related subject area with a grade of at least 2.5 and a total of 210 ECTS (standard period of study of 7 semesters). Subject-related aptitude is assessed by means of an interview. If specialised knowledge is missing or the Bachelor's degree has been completed with only 180 ECTS credits (standard period of study of 6 semesters), module examinations from the Bachelor's degree course in Food Technology must be completed. In addition, applicants require at least one year of professional experience in a relevant professional field or must pursue a professional activity integrated into their studies of at least 19 hours per week.
