Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the Master's degree course are: - The completion of a professionally qualifying German or equivalent university degree with a minimum musicological content of 30 credit points. 10 credit points of which can also have been achieved in artistic/practical subjects with a musical reference - Applicants who have not obtained their certificate of academic degree at an educational institution where German is the teaching language must provide evidence of German language skills. This can be demonstrated by passing the German Language Examination for University Entrance (DSH) or by demonstrating an equivalent level of proficiency according to the Regulations for the German Language Examination for University Entrance of Foreign Applicants at Freie Universität Berlin.
