Sufficient active and passive English language skills are required, in order to be able to read specialised literature in English, as well as participate in lectures conducted in English. From the winter semester 2023/24, Goethe University Frankfurt will take into account the result of the Germany-wide standardised aptitude test "BaPsy-DGPs" for admission to the Bachelor's degree programme in Psychology. Admission requirements

Subject to the approval of the competent governing and decision-making bodies, the Goethe University will take into account the results of the BaPsy-DGPs (aptitude test for Bachelor's degree courses in Psychology) degree course aptitude test in its selection procedure from the winter semester 2023/24. In the selection procedure, the grade in school-leaving exams and performance in the selection test are offset against each other, with a weighting of 55% for the grade in school-leaving exams and 45% for performance in the test.
