Do you want to study two European legal systems in two countries and two languages at the same time? At the European University Viadrina, you can learn the basics of German and Polish law in parallel and thus expand your career opportunities in both countries. At Viadrina, around 4,000 young people from more than 100 countries worldwide study at a unique location: on a cross-border campus in the European twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)-Słubice, our students experience the convergence of Europe with all its opportunities and challenges.

The German-Polish Law degree course is offered in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań, Poland. By working with two legal systems, cultures and languages on a daily basis, internationality becomes part of everyday life. You can acquire three degrees in just five years: Bachelor’s academic degree (LLB), Master’s academic degree (LLM) and the Polish Master’s degree (mgr).

The Bachelor’s degree (LLB) already opens up many career prospects for you: you can, for example, work in the civil service, in European and international organisations as well as in internationally operating companies.

Our Legal Learning Centre offers you a unique range of support, which helps you to promote your strengths and improve your examination achievements. Short communication channels and a collaborative atmosphere create optimal conditions for successful academic studies. With 280 partner universities worldwide, we offer you optimal conditions for a semester abroad. All students are free to enrol in the degree course.

General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or similar from a German school or a recognised equivalent foreign school-leaving certificate. Please be sure to note: this list applies exclusively to admission to the Bachelor's degree course.

Students whose native language is not German must have a sufficient command of the German language (DSH examination)
