Target group
As a Social Manager, you will take on organisational and administrative tasks, such as Controlling, Human Resources, Quality Management, Cooperation Discussions with other organisations, Cost and Schedule Planning. You may also be responsible for the public image of your social institution. This includes social marketing and the promotion of social services (e.g. assisted living, outpatient nursing, advisory services), sponsorship and public relations.
Annotation
Online study with live online seminars. You can take your exams online or at an exam centre – you can choose each time you register for an exam. Studies commence in April and October. After an individual assessment, it is also possible to start the programme at any other time.
Admission requirements
To be admitted to the distance learning programme in Social Management (M.A.), you must fulfil one of the following prerequisites: - Completed Bachelor’s degree course Social Work (BA) or (Early) Childhood Pedagogy (BA) at the DIPLOMA University of Applied Sciences with the final grade of at least "satisfactory". - Bachelor's academic degree/Diploma degree in a degree course in social services comprising 180 credits, which touches on social work and its peripheral areas and includes economics, for example: Social Education, Sociology, Health and Social Management, Social Economy, Economics with a social focus. The final grade must be at least "satisfactory". - A foreign academic degree that is at least equivalent to the Bachelor's or university degree examination in the same or a related subject area with a standard period of study of at least six semesters (corresponding to 180 credits) with an academic degree of at least "satisfactory".
