Annotation
The supplementary subject of Jazz and Pop can be studied in place of an academic subject and is a fully-fledged second subject. Combined with the Teaching Qualification Bachelor’s degree course, it allows students to concentrate entirely on music. The supplementary subject can be started at the same time as the Teaching Qualification Bachelor’s degree course, at the latest in the third semester due to the duration of six semesters. In the Teaching Qualification Master’s degree, the supplementary subject comprises a further two semesters. The supplementary subject can also be studied as a "third subject", in addition to Music at the HMDK and the academic subject at the university. It can therefore be taken later than the third semester.
