The study offer in the first study semester of Textile Technology are provided by the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau at the study location in Zwickau/Reichenbach. Graduates of the Bachelor's degree programme in Textile Structures and Technologies at the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau who can demonstrate in-depth knowledge in mechanical engineering in accordance with the special scientific profile of Chemnitz University of Technology will be enrolled in the second study semester of the Master's degree programme. Please note: The beginning of the semester in Zwickau is usually two weeks before the beginning of the semester in Chemnitz. Note: The degree course was discontinued in the winter semester of 2024/2025. The successor is the Master's degree programme Sustainable Textile Technologies and Outdoor Equipment.

Long-term tuition fees: If the regular period of study is exceeded by more than 4 semesters, a fee of 500 is charged for each additional semester. Fees for second degrees: No tuition fees if the Master's degree course comes directly after a Bachelor's degree course or, in the case of another prior degree such as a Diplom or Magister, the standard period of study of the first course does not exceed more than 6 semesters (otherwise: 350/semester).
