The career-integrated Master's degree programme includes academic continuing education and an additional therapeutic qualification. It qualifies you for activities in addiction therapy and in addiction prevention, such as in clinics or counselling centres. Students can rely on more than twenty years of experience at the katho in the education and training of addiction therapists.

Admission requirements
Admission requirements: - General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or an eligibility for admission recognised as equivalent by the responsible state bodies AND - a completed degree in Human Sciences (e.g. Social Work, Social Education, Psychology Medicine) AND - at least one year of professional experience working at least 19.25 hours per week in the field of addiction support or a related field (e.g. psychiatry, homeless support)

Tuition fees
The tuition fees include (EUR 14,900) the following: All seminar and course fees, all examination fees, 200 hours of supervision and professional self-reflection in a small group, six hours of individual supervision or professional coaching, student advice and counselling, intensive supervision of the Master's thesis with accompanying colloquium as well as drinks on course days. Costs for learning materials and technical literature are not included.
