Proof of practical experience: Technical pre-course work placement lasting 26 weeks in the area of metalworking or proof of completed professional training as a ships mechanic, - completed TOA (assistant technical officer) training according to the federal guidelines, - training qualification in a relevant metal or electrical profession or practical training through a certificate of competency according to Section 5 of the Ordinance on Training and Qualification of Captains and Ships Officers of the Nautical and Technical Shipping Service (SchOffzAusbV)
