Admission to the degree course requires completion of three years of vocational training in a health profession, including:
nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, paramedics, midwives, medical assistants, dental assistants, medical technologists (radiology, laboratory analysis, functional diagnostics), surgical and anaesthetic assistants, dieticians, carers for people with special educational needs

Additionally, school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education, entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences or previous education recognised as equivalent.
