The concept of a practice-integrated course of study is based on a close association between practical work experience and academic study. Each semester is made up of an 11-week practical phase in a company, followed by a 12-week theoretical study phase at the institution of higher education. Components of a practice-integrated course of study include courses of lectures, supervised independent study, work in small groups and practical experience in a company.

To apply for a study place in a practice-integrated degree course of study at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, you must provide evidence of practical work at a company during your studies in the form of a cooperation agreement.
