Annotation

In visual communication, the creative production of communicative images, graphics and texts plays an important role for use in public. However, the spectrum of information exchange to be designed has expanded beyond the use of traditional graphic means of expression. Visual communication therefore also refers to the entire human-designed environment and its communication relationships. The planning of campaigns and events can be just as much a part of this not always precisely delimited field of activity as the task of dramaturgically organising complex sensory impressions or communicating with audio-visual, electronic media and in digital networks.
