Admission requirements
The admission requirement is a first certificate of academic degree in a relevant natural sciences or technical degree course worth at least 210 ECTS points and an overall grade of 2.7 or better. Any degree course that teaches skills from the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Electrical and Information Technology worth at least 90 ECTS points is deemed relevant. If the requirements above are not fulfilled in their entirety, admission is only granted by demonstrating the lacking knowledge through successful attendance at certain Bachelor’s degree courses before registering the Master's thesis. This is generally the case if the prospective studenthas obtained fewer than 210 ECTS points or fewer than 90 ECTS points (with regard to relevance) in the first degree course. Admission is not possible for those with an overall grade worse than 2.7.
