Annotation

Increasingly complex care situations have to be managed in intensive care, anaesthesia care and emergency care: An increasingly aging population with a wide range of medical conditions is encountering ever better (intensive) medical treatment options. The dual Master’s degree in Intensive Care (MSc) offers an academic qualification for nurses with which specialist training in intensive, anaesthesia and emergency care can also be obtained in parallel in cooperation with the dual partner company.

The DHBW CAS Master’s degree programme is a continuing education and career-integrated programme. The following admission requirements apply for starting a degree course: - You have professional knowledge of healthcare or nursing (proven by admission as a nurse by means of a nursing examination) - You have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree (or comparable academic degree), regardless of which university, university of applied sciences or cooperative university it is from (final grade of 2.5 or better or membership of ECTS classification A or B) - After completing your bachelor's degree, you have worked and gained experience of at least one year in a job suitable for your desired degree programme. - At work you can implement the knowledge acquired in the Master’s programme. - Your employer is informed about your application for the Master's programme.

The Master’s degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Advanced Practice in Healthcare costs 6,500 euros (1,625 euros per semester) and a one-off registration fee of 300 euros over the standard period of study of four semesters. Additional study semesters cost 400 euros.
