Description

The positions modified according to the requirements of the different disciplines as part of the "Biological Clocks on Multiple Time Scales" project limited to 36 months (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz).

Tasks:

• Scientific work on one of the chosen research projects as it is described.
• Active participation in the workshops and events of the RTG and collaboration with the PIs and other PhD candidates.
• Completion of a study program according to the curriculum of the research training group.

Requirements:

• Excellent Master, Diploma or Magister degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines
• Strong commitment to interdisciplinary research and education
• Very good command of the English language

Advantageous are:

• Experiences thematically related to the scope of the RTG or to the projects as chosen

We encourage applications of candidates with dedicated interest in any of the projects, and with background in biology, mathematics, physics, genetics, cell biology, computational biophysics, biochemistry, system and control theory, neurobiology, molecular biology, or related disciplines. The candidates are expected to work towards their PhD degree.
