Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. For insurance reasons, only students from the University Albstadt-Sigmaringen are allowed to participate in sports activities. As the General Students’ Union only coordinates sports offers and does not run them on its own, it cannot accept liability for accidents. Sports: We offer our students a self-composed university sports programme. It includes the following sports, among others: Football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, dance, karate, table tennis, ski trip during the winter semester, climbing (in cooperation with the German Alpine Association), zumba, yoga.
