Special features regarding the library

The university library of the DHBW Lörrach has over 65,000 volumes of study literature and approx. 35,000 e-books at two locations. In addition, there is a wide range of printed and electronic journals and databases. The library also has an inter cultural collection and with the regional collection, is likewise present in the tri-border region. With its constantly expanding range of courses and training as well as modern, noise-reduced individual workstations, the university library is a modern service provider or a popular place of study for students.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Sport at other colleges / universities is only possible after prior agreement. You can also take advantage of the sports facilities of the Freiburg student union (Studierendenwerk). Participation is free of charge. Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) is a member of the General German University Sports Association (ADH). Participation in competitions (e.g DHM) is possible at any time after registration. Participation in the sports programs of other DHBW locations is possible at any time. Participation in the sports programs of other colleges/universities is only possible by arrangement. Information about our offered Sport AG's/clubs can be found on our homepage.
