There is no foreign language centre.

The university offers its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the university sports programme for Hamburg. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The KLU, as a partner university of top sports in cooperation with the ADH and the Olympic training centre Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein, offers one to three sports scholarships (partial / full scholarships) for top athletes as well as discount programs for Bundesliga athletes of various sports. In addition, KLU students have the opportunity to actively participate in various team and individual sports in university leagues, tournaments and university championships. The KLU owns a dragon boat for recreational activities on the Alster and has its own gym with modern equipment directly on campus.
