Locations: In addition to the central library on the university campus, Bremen State and University Library is represented by eight other library locations at the universities in Bremen and Bremerhaven.; Stock: The library's own search system E-LIB offers direct access to more than 80 million printed and electronic resources.; Services: Bremen State and University Library offers students modern individual workspaces and group work zones as well as extensive analogue and virtual services for individual advice as well as training courses on topics such as academic research, reference management, open access publishing or research data management.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. University sports offers students, university members and citizens of Bremen a varied programme, which serves above all to promote fun and enjoyment through doing sports together. The spectrum of the currently approx. 450 courses ranges from amateur and recreational sports, to student competitive sports, from acrobatics to circus arts. The participants can get to know new and alternative sports or can improve their performance and technique in sports they already know. Of the approx. 8,500 participants each semester, around one third are non-students
