Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, German Sign Language. All language courses are offered as part of the Studium Generale by the Centre for Continuing Education at various levels. Students may participate in the Foreign Language Centre of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburghttps://www.sprz.ovgu.de.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. For our students, participation in the sports programme at most universities in the state of Saxony-Anhalt is possible, for example also in the sports programme of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. As a modern and health-promoting university, we see it as our responsibility to promote the health of all our students and employees. We want to create ideal study and working conditions and make everyday life on our campus as healthy and active as possible. Not only is it a wonderful place to study in the countryside, you can also easily keep fit with one of the approximately 250 sports and health courses per semester. In addition to the extensive range of sports, we offer comprehensive health management services. Sports: At Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, you can choose from around 250 sports programmes and keep yourself healthy and fit. Every semester we offer a wide range of sports from A for aerobics to Z for Zumba. But we also offer classic sports such as handball, volleyball and football.
