Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Arabic, German Sign Language. The centre for continuing education offers all language courses at a variety of levels as part of the ‘Studium Generale’.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Our students are eligible to participate in sports programmes at most universities in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, for example at the sports programme at the University of Magdeburg. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. As a modern university with an interest in promoting health, we consider it our responsibility to promote your health and the health of all our students and employees. We want to create the perfect conditions in which to study and work, making everyday life on our campus as healthy and active as possible. Not only is the countryside a wonderfully conducive learning atmosphere, but you can also easily keep fit with one of the approximately 250 sports and health courses on offer each semester. In addition to the extensive sports offer, we also provide you with a broad array of services in health management. Sports: At Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, choose from some 250 sports offers to stay healthy and fit. We offer numerous types of sports every semester, from A for aerobics to Z for zumba. Classic sports, such as handball, volleyball and football, are offered as well.
