Locations: University library in the award-winning IKMZ building (Herzog & de Meuron) and at two other locations in Sachsendorf and Senftenberg; Stock: Supplies BTU and the region with 1.2 million media, including 132,000 e-books and 48,000 predominantly electronic journals; Services: As a knowledge workshop, it offers a modularised programme of courses, workshops and cookie lectures based on the blended learning model. In addition, individual expert advice on topics related to academic work can be booked. The university library has 882 workspaces, technically equipped group workspaces and carrels.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programmes of institutions in the States of Brandenburg, Berlin and Saxony. Participation is subject to fees. The programme is open to: Students of the universities in Saxony, Berlin and Brandenburg. Extensive range of health courses offered (back exercise classes, Pilates, problem zone toning classes, yoga, Nordic walking, etc.); Climbing and bouldering in university’s own indoor climbing facility
