Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Finnish and, since summer semester 2021, in the context of the new regional elective: ‘Destination Nord’. Students can participate in courses at Bavarian Virtual University.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Wide range of sports, including current trends (e.g. callisthenics and crosstraining); Health-related courses (e.g. yoga); Organisation of own tournaments and events (e.g beach volleyball and football); Student participation in regional and national championships (e.g. Ultimate university championship), sports activities also available outside the official programme directly on the campus (e.g. beach volleyball). Sports: A mix of classic evergreens, health-oriented courses and current trend sports offers participants an ideal way to balance the demands of study and work. Courses offered: Badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, flamenco (subject to pandemic restrictions)
