Locations: The library is centrally located on the university campus. It is the largest academic library in the region and accessible to everyone.; Stock: As of 1.1.2023: 100,026 printed books, 330,000 e-books, 13,770 e-journals, 180 printed journals; Services: As a 24-hour library, it is open around the clock to members of the university 365 days a year; 70 iPads available for loan; Lockable mobile containers available for loan; Book and document scanner with feeder available without charge; extensive range of training on offer; Group rooms; Particularly during the “coronavirus semester”, highly flexible and student-friendly (e.g. sending books to students by post, increasing the stock of e-books)

Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, German Sign Language. Students may participate in the programme of the Bavarian Virtual University (VHB).

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. All students and staff of the University of Applied Sciences Landshut can also take advantage of the digital sports programme of the Sports Centre of the University of Passau. Members of the University of Applied Sciences Landshut are entitled to participate in the university sports programme in Freising and Munich. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Members of the University of Applied Sciences Landshut can participate in the digital sports programme of the Sports Centre of the University of Passau as well as in the university sports programme in Freising and Munich. This offers an extended range of courses but also more flexibility. Sports: Basketball, badminton, football, volleyball, table tennis, Spikeball, back training, full-body workout, stretching & fascia massage, full-body training for women.
