Special features regarding the library

Locations: Ansbach; Rothenburg; Stock: 80,000 printed media; 55,000 digital media; Services: The library is a central place of study and work at the university, with long opening hours until midnight. In addition to workspaces in two reading rooms, numerous digital and printed books, newspapers and journals are available to students. Besides a compulsory first-semester training course, courses and an action day for academic work are offered.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. Participation is free of charge. The programme includes many sports such as football, volleyball, hockey, table tennis, badminton, basketball and Ultimate Frisbee. In addition to these are fitness sessions such as a running group, ghetto workout, dance workout, Jump & Run, Bodyfit for Women or gym (circuit training). Various dance courses are also available. There are also various arrangements with sports providers from the region who offer reduced rates for students. The includes activities from golf to martial arts to bouldering.
