Special features regarding the library

Locations: The specialised library of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) (FBH, campus HKA, Building A) is a branch of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) library. You can also use the KIT library as well as the specialised library for Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Karlsruhe (FBD).; Stock: The partnership enables access a wide stock of more than two million books and research reports as well as almost 170,000 journals in printed and electronic format.; Services: The HKA specialised library is regularly open for 65 hours per week (Mon. - Fri. 8am to 9pm) and offers 253 networked individual workspaces and two group work rooms. Library tours are held at the beginning and during a semester. Seminars on literature research and the Zotero & Citavi reference management programmes are also held at regular intervals every semester. Individual advice on literature research and the Zotero & Citavi reference management programmes are also part of the library service.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. All students/employees of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences can use the sports facilities of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Participation is subject to fees.
