Special features regarding the library

The library has an extensive stock of printed and digital media on Technology, Computer Science and Economics. It comprises specialist books, journals, databases, e-books e-journals. New media is purchased with the involvement of students, allowing current stock requirements to always be taken into account. Opening hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sat 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Round-the-clock access to digital media (incl. at home) via the internet. Students can study and obtain support with academic work directly on site.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Hochschule Aalen works with the student government association (Verfasste Studierendenschaft) to offer a varied sports programme for all students of Hochschule Aalen. Registration for the university sports programme is held every semester during the first week of lectures. The university sports programme begins every semester in the third week of lectures. Every summer there is also a university sports festival for students and staff.
