Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Latin, Turkish, Arabic. Students may participate in the programme of the Bavarian Virtual University (vhb).

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Thanks to the Bavarian cooperation model, students at the KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt can also participate in the university sports programmes of the other Bavarian universities. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The university sports programme is open to students from all universities. Specialisation include- taking into account the high proportion of women in the KU: Health and fitness, gymnastics and dancing, mobility and relaxation (including hybrid programmes). In addition, the full range of standard university sports – from sport games to martial arts – is also offered. A spacious fitness studio is available to students for around 60 hours/week. The premium range of courses (small group training and personal training) also includes a sports science diagnostic laboratory.
