About 27,223 media. These include current specialist books and journals on the courses taught at the university, literature from related subjects to complement the range of subjects, daily newspapers, non-book media and e-books, as well as a large business literature database. In the online library catalogue you can search the entire media inventory of the library of the Alanus University; also part of the University of Applied sciences and Arts in Ottersberg. The Alanus library is networked with the German interlibrary loan system.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The university cooperates with the university sports of the University of Bonn. Football, yoga, tango, badminton - every semester, the university sports of the Alanus University offer selected sports courses. There are also several collaborations with external providers. Our students have the opportunity to participate in university sports at the University of Bonn. Times are reserved for university sports on the Bolz and the beach volleyball court next to the Campus II of Alanus University. During these times, priority is given to students and employees of the university to use the areas.
