Special features regarding teaching

There is an opportunity to take mirrored modules in German at Sichuan University in Chengdu during the Bachelor’s degree programme. In the Master’s degree programme, a special module in research practice is offered, conveying the principles of academic work even before the Master’s thesis is submitted.

Special features regarding the international orientation

In summer semester of 2021, the proportion of foreign students in the department was approx. 50%. The students came from 49 different countries. There are over 50 international collaborations within the department as part of the Erasmus programme and a further 10 international collaborations outside of the Erasmus programme.

Cleanroom for polymer microelectronics and microsensors in the Clausthal Centre for Materials Technology (CZMM)

Special features regarding research activities

The research centres at TU Clausthal enable interdisciplinary research in the field of the digitisation of industrial production processes (e.g. additive manufacturing and human-machine interfaces, recycling 4.0).
