Special features regarding teaching

High degree of practical relevance and international focus in teaching are particularly important. The combination of experts from industry and professors of applied sciences offers the opportunity to think in a project- and practice-oriented way. The flexibility of the university plays a major role here, because students interact directly and in small groups with their teachers and can thus grow professionally in an interdisciplinary manner. In addition, the faculty is staffed by experts from different disciplines (Data Science, Economics, Marketing, Enterprise Architecture, HR, etc.).

Special features regarding the international orientation

The faculty is closely linked to university partners within the Erasmus and BAU Global Network. Through student and staff mobility support, students and BI professors visit partner universities and stay there according to the programme. One of the newest partners worldwide is the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. In addition, the BAU Global Network provides the opportunity for Washington, Cyprus and Batumi to host further activities such as workshops and summer schools that benefit the BI community through newly acquired knowledge.
