Special features regarding teaching

The contents of the three courses are based on an engineering foundation course. This is followed by separate course-specific training. Many laboratory practicals and excursions guarantee a high practical relevance. Innovative topics such as renewable energies and smart grids are integral parts of the lectures.

The partnerships with several international universities and companies allow students to spend semesters abroad and practical phases in almost all regions of the world.

Our laboratories and research facilities are equipped with innovative measuring instruments. Semi-industrial testing facilities illustrate complex practical processes.

Numerous research projects develop and examine current questions of building, energy and environmental technology. Examples include e-mobility, climate protection, water filtration, flood protection, smart grid etc.
