Several humanoid robots, smartphones, tablets, development environment on the basis of Eclipse ADT Plugin/PhoneGap/Xnode/Visual Studio; learning centre for personality development with 70" multi-touch monitors; MINT workshop for inter-disciplinary projects; laboratory for Communications and Network Engineering: Cisco routers, Etherreal, LANguard, Network Security Scanner, single-board computer; lab for Information Engineering: special measuring devices, logic analyser, spectrum analyser etc. all lecture theatre and lab rooms in Technical Computer Science are equipped with high-resolution Sympodium.

Other special features

The Computer Science courses cooperate closely with the subject-related areas of the university: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. The topics are "Virtual Reality", "Mobile Computing (Augmented Reality)" "Robotics"," Production Simulation", "Industry 4.0" and "IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Management". The IT courses are also heavily involved in the cross-university and cross-state research project Open C³S. The research results are directly incorporated into the study programmes and enhance these in the long term.
