Special features regarding teaching

At our institute, students experience teaching that makes use of an electronic teaching platform, interactive lectures, a high number of practical components, study-integrated examinations and close cooperation with other departments (e.g. Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Palaeontology, etc.) as well as other departments and non-university research institutes (Max Planck Society, Leibniz Institutes, Robert Koch Institute, etc.).

Special features regarding the international orientation

Our institute has contacts to many partner universities and a very high percentage of foreign students through our bi-lingual degree courses. The institute is open to forging new international contacts.
