Final examinations keep students on the ball and familiarise them with independent case solving, which is an essential component of the First Law Examination. This structure makes it easier for students to obtain a degree within the standard period of study and to quickly enter the professional world successfully. Nine specialisations reflect the faculty's multifaceted research profile: Criminal Sciences, Medical Law, four specialisations focusing on Business Law, Environmental Law and Principles of Law.

The lecture halls and seminar rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, equipment for successful hybrid teaching included; Modern architecture with bright rooms offering plenty of daylight creates an optimum teaching and learning environment; The library, which is very well equipped (also with study grant funds), is optimally supplemented by online access to numerous subject-specific databases - so research is possible from home as well. Despite all the technical equipment, we are a face-to-face university and look forward to meeting you in person.

Bio, Medical and Health Law is characterised by its breadth & the intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach. Environmental Law aims to protect the natural foundations of life. The basic subjects create the basis for a comprehensive understanding of law. Dealing with international law, be it global or European, is an essential component of legal research in the field of International Law.
