Special features regarding teaching
The Bachelor's degree course in Psychology is modular. The Master's degree course expands and consolidates the knowledge in the fields of Industrial and Engineering Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Occupational and Organisational Psychology as well as Health Psychology (including the Psychology of Professional Rehabilitation).
Special features regarding the international orientation
One of the work units is internationally oriented, with English the colloquial language, and empirical internships are also in English.
Special features regarding the equipment
The Institute of Psychology at RWTH Aachen has the usual laboratory equipment as well as an eye-movement laboratory, a VR laboratory and an EEG and EMG laboratory.
Special features regarding research activities
Prof. Iring Koch is the coordinator and since 2018 the spokesperson of the German Research Foundation's (DFG) priority programme "Human Multitasking" (priority programme 1772 "Human performance under multiple cognitive task requirements") which was launched in 2015 (2015-2021).
Other special features
The teaching and research focus in the health psychology application field of Professional Rehabilitation Psychology is a special feature in Germany.
