International student and lecturer mobility through a variety of ERASMUS partnerships. New international mobility and cooperation package "Southern/Western Balkans/Russia neighbourhood" in the context of which new research ties are established at chair level.

Special features regarding the equipment

Video/media engineering, EEG laboratory, EEG biofeedback, TdCS, eye-tracking, test archive, driving simulator. In addition, unique equipment in Germany for recording automatic, sensor-based social interaction and motion behaviour in rooms: The only institute in Germany with a set of SociometricBadges® which can track social structures and networks based on the communication and social behaviour of the people wearing them. One of the few institutes in Germany with UbiSense equipment for highly precise position identification of people in closed rooms.

Methodological skills centre; Outpatient smokers' clinic; Psychotherapy university outpatient clinic; Germany’s leading institute in research projects into uses of electromobility as part of the flagship project ‘Electromobility as showcase’, development of a car sharing system with electric vehicles on campus in order to research usage behaviour in electromobility, department heads the SFB application ‘Hybrid Societies’, which received a positive pre-evaluation by the DFB 11/2018; Centre for Criminological Research Saxony (ZKFS)
