Broad-based undergraduate studies in the 1-subject and 2-subject bachelor's degree in educational science; Degree qualifies for: (1) a master’s degree in the field of educational science, specialisation option in particular in the area EB/WB/PE/OE and (2) for entry into professional practice; Skills- and project-oriented teaching including basic research methods and the opportunity to develop, carry out, evaluate and present your own projects, cooperation with profit/non-profit organisations and with the Georg Eckert Institute

In summer semester 2022, an international exchange programme will start with the University of Rhode Island to enable student exchange as part of a summer school.

Special features regarding research activities

EZW as a discipline realises basic, contract and evaluation research, e.g. in the BMBF project ‘Competence development and learning transfer in university education’. The BMBF project ‘Conditions for success of individual support with digital media in schools’ examines processes of digitalisation in schools. Basic methodological and substantive research in the history of education is conducted in the German-Israeli DFG project ‘National Jewish Youth Culture and Zionist Education in Germany and Palestine’.
