Special features regarding teaching

Economics is aimed at all those who enjoy and are interested in learning about business contexts and the overarching questions of a modern economy. During the study programme, there are many opportunities for students to get involved, both for themselves (language courses, work placements, additional certificates, working student positions, stays abroad) and for others (departmental student body, tutoring). Students can always get involved as active members of the faculty (evaluations, committee work, attendance of guest lectures, participation in workshops, etc.)

Special features regarding the international orientation

Students in the Faculty of Economics have many opportunities to gain intercultural experience during their studies and to spend time abroad: Faculty's own Erasmus Coordinator and cooperation agreements with 28 European universities; Worldwide exchange programmes of TU Dortmund; Summer Schools; Teaching collaborations; Courses taught in English in the Bachelor's programme; Option to complete the Master's completely in English
