Annotation

Public administration and public companies are of central importance to the sustainable provision of services of general interest and the democratic community and are an important competitive factor for Germany and in the region. The weaknesses in coping with the coronavirus crisis and so-called systemic competition with China and Russia have also made the central importance of an efficient political-administrative system visible across the board. The interdisciplinary two-year Master's degree programme 'Public Management & Digitalisation | PMD' enables students to ask the crucial questions of the future, to analyse policy measures and to make public organisations sustainable. Through imparted methodological, operational and key skills, students are enabled to understand the digital world of the future in a more differentiated way as 'future leaders' and to help to sustainably shape the digital transformation of state, administration and public companies.
