Applicants with subject-specific inquisitiveness, interdisciplinary thinking and interest in regional tasks, who enjoy communicating and making decisions and are committed and willing to travel. Completion of an undergraduate Diplom or Bachelor's degree, with a minimum grade of 'good' or higher in the following subject areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Architecture, Spatial Planning, Regional and Geosciences, Economics, Social Sciences and Political Science, Nutrition and Environmental Sciences

Topics: Regional development, business management, regional development concepts, European regional policy, marketing of regional value chains, spatial planning and development, presentation, regional consulting and conflict management, public relations, project management, regional economic development, tourism and destination management, regional governance and financing, regional research, services of general interest, rural services, land use and resource management, sustainable economic activity, sustainable energy industry, human resources management Experts from the practical field as lecturers, various excursions, interdisciplinary, cross-sectional modules from other degree programmes and in English possible

A practical activity of at least 20 weeks within the framework of an internship semester, practical training or work experience. International applicants whose native language is not German must prove that they have a sufficient knowledge of German by successfully completing the German Language Test for University Admission (DSH) or an equivalent test.
