Admission requirements

The prerequisites for access to the Master's degree in General and Comparative Literature are met by anyone who has a Bachelor's degree course of at least six semesters with a total of at least 180 ECTS credit points (LP) with a focus on Literary and Cultural Studies or in Art and Media Studies with a literary component (each amounting to successfully completed at least 40 LP). In the case of a purely Germanic Bachelor's degree, attendance at a foreign language philology seminar is also required. Language skills in two foreign languages at level B2 of the Common European Framework for Foreign Languages (GER) or an equivalent level of knowledge are required.
