According to section 2 of the general examination regulations for the regulation of controlled admissions for Master's Degrees, students of the Master's course in Slavic Philology must satisfy the following further requirements: Proof of very good competence in a Slavic language in both written and oral form, equivalent to Bachelor's degree standard, as well as basic knowledge in a second Slavic language, proof required at matriculation in the form of a report/certificate. Basic knowledge of Russian is definitely required.
