At least 8 weeks basic internship prior to beginning the course: Getting to know the materials and their workability \; Overview of manufacturing facilities and processes. The recognition takes place in the internship office and has to be submitted to the examination office by the end of the 3rd semester at the latest and at least seven weeks specialised internship during the studies: Supplementing and deepening knowledge acquired during the course by working in various areas of the company and becoming familiar with the engineering practice. Also possible as a practice-integrated dual study program (study + practical experience in the company).
