Target group

This Master's degree programme is specifically designed for professionals and is aimed at experienced professionals as well as at young professionalswith an initial degree in economics or law, the aim of which is a management position, with a focus on employment law in a law firm or a company, e.g. in the personnel department. Lawyersand graduates from other disciplines are also eligible to take part in the degree course after completing an additional preliminary course. Lawyers can also acquire the theoretical knowledge that is a requirement for the Specialist Attorney's Office for Employment Law within the meaning of the Specialist Lawyers' Regulations (FAO).

Admission requirements

Admission requirement to the Master's degree programme “Labour Law” is a successfully completed university degree with a state exam, Diplom, Bachelor or Master's degree programme among the top 50% of all graduatesat a university with at least 240 ECTS credit points. Up to 60 ECTS points can be obtained on the basis of professional qualifications. For non-legally trained applicants:: admission to the preparatory course and passing the exam is an additional admission requirement.
