Important: The courses offered for this degree course will be transferred to the major and minor course structure in the winter semester 2023/24. For this reason, enrolment in the single-subject Bachelor’s degree is no longer possible. After the changeover, a degree course with the same content in the form of major and minor subjects will be available in the combined Bachelor’s degree (see ). On the one hand, the programme focuses on the acquisition of linguistic knowledge that enables you to analyse language and communication in a wide range of areas and contexts. On the other hand, the degree programme offers a wide range of opportunities to improve your foreign language skills. Take advantage of the wide scope for specialisation and set a linguistic and cultural accent during your studies with a view to your future field of activity. In addition to linguistic specialist knowledge, language technology qualifications and foreign language skills, the non-linguistic elective area provides you with specific key qualifications oriented to the professional field, e.g. from business administration, education, political science or history.
