Annotation

In the BA in History you will learn all the basics and techniques of working with history in order to deal with questions of change in society, culture, politics and economy in a critical, independent and innovative way. In all eras from antiquity to the 21st century you will acquire knowledge of the basic structures and core processes. You will learn about the most important source corpora from original material culture to digitally available collections and how to index, analyse and interpret them. Spatially you move from micro-historical contexts of everyday life to global aspects of the history of empires and international relations. For the degree you will develop your own small research project in an epoch of your choice.
