Target group

The degree course is specially tailored for working professionals and allows the participants to participate in the course alongside a full-time occupation. It is aimed at lawyers, economists, project developers, architects and civil engineers.

Annotation

The course is generally offered every two years in the winter semester, provided that sufficient numbers of students have enrolled. If the course is in high demand, it may be offered yearly for the winter term or even every semester.

Admission requirements

(1) The general admission requirement for a continuing education Master's degree course is 1. Proof of completion of a subject-relevant state examination, Diplom or Bachelor's degree in the field of law, economics, architecture, civil engineering, project development (or thematically similar courses of study) or proof of a German or foreign certificate of academic degree. The graduate must have earned 240 ECTS points in this degree course, and 2. relevant professional experience of at least one year after the first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree. The legal traineeship with a clear reference to construction law is recognised.

In accordance with Section 20 (5) of the Hesse Higher Education Act (HHG), the career-integrated postgraduate Master's degree course in "Construction Law and Construction Supervision - from Project Development to Dispute Resolution" is subject to fees. The total amount can be paid in four instalments of 5,500, which are due at the beginning of each semester. Early booking discount: binding registration by 30 April means that you receive a discount of 10% on the total amount. The four instalments would then be reduced to EUR 4,950.
