Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here:https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor In the minor subject sub-course "Celtology" you will learn the Celtic languages Old Irish and Middle Welsh, which originated over a thousand years ago and - at least as far as Welsh is concerned - are still spoken in parts of Great Britain today. In addition to pure language acquisition, the analysis of medieval texts from Wales and Ireland as well as their literary-historical and cultural context and classification are part of this course. An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/fb09/igs/arbeitsgruppen/sprechwissenschaft/marskills/was-ist-marskills).
