The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree programmes in the field of Physics or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

The prerequisite is proof of a degree course in the field of physics, which includes at least 32 credit points in basic mathematical subjects, 32 credit points in experimental physics, 32 credit points in theoretical physics and 24 credit points in practical courses in physics. Furthermore, very good command of English is required Foreign applicants must prove that they have English language skills at level C1, unless they can prove that they have German language skills at level DSH-2 (or equivalent).
