Target group

The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree courses in the field of Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of a degree in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering or related degree course (e.g., material sciences), provided at least 60 credits have been acquired in physical and chemical subjects (final thesis not included) in the combined amount of credits. The grade should be at least 'good' or better. Relevant professional experience may be taken into account. Furthermore, knowledge of English must be demonstrated at level B2.
